The National Taiwan Normal University's "Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Education Excellence Pilot Project" commissioned by the Ministry of Education held the North District Recruitment for the 113th Academic Year Benchmark and Seed School on April 9 in the multi-functional lecture hall on the seventh floor of the National Taiwan Normal University Art Museum. Project host Professor Zhao Huiling from the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University kicked off the briefing session, introducing the impressive results of the cross-disciplinary aesthetic education project in its 11th year, as well as a plan for future development. She emphasized that the core concept of the cross-disciplinary aesthetic education project is to implement school curricula with art as the core and linking other subject areas. She hopes that future benchmark and seed schools can continue to spread the aforementioned concepts and integrate new highlights such as sustainable development goals ( SDGs) and social-emotional learning (SEL). It is expected that the cross-disciplinary aesthetic project can become a sphere with integrated energy, bringing together various spaces, objects and resources on campus, off campus, locally and internationally, and integrating research support to move forward. In addition to the recruitment briefing session for the North District, the Cross-disciplinary Beauty Project has held briefing sessions for the South District and Central District in Kaohsiung and Taichung on March 26 and 29, attracting a total of 300 people including international Taiwanese schools.
