The second phase of the cross-disciplinary aesthetic education experimental curriculum development plan for secondary schools and elementary schools entrusted by the Ministry of Education to the Department of Fine Arts of National Taiwan Normal University concluded successfully.

The "Second Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Education Experimental Curriculum Development Plan for Secondary Schools and Elementary Schools" district teacher joint meetings were held from June 25 to 28. There were three teacher joint meetings in the North District, Central District, and South District, with participants from all over the country. Hundreds of teachers from various counties and cities in Taiwan, including outlying islands, reviewed the achievements of aesthetic education in the past year and planned a new vision for the future. The three-day conference was held at National Taiwan Normal University, National Taichung University of Education and National Kaohsiung Normal University. Director Zheng Yuanquan and Deputy Director Li Yujuan of the Department of Teacher Training and Art Education of the Ministry of Education were also present to support and share and exchange ideas.

The first session of the Southern District Teachers Federation was held on June 25. Project co-host Gao Zhenfeng, professor of the Department of Visual Arts at Taipei City University, said: "The first phase of the project originally only included secondary schools, but 110 elementary schools have been added since 106 , hoping to go deeper into the media and the community in the future. The direction and content of the third issue will be adjusted to continue to allow beauty to exist in every corner." The third phase of the plan is expected to complete large-scale activities such as day reading activities in various counties and cities in Taiwan, Huashan Aesthetic Education Project Exhibition and international seminars, and promote cross-disciplinary aesthetic education to the community. At the conference that day, there were also outstanding courses from secondary schools, experimental schools, and elementary schools. Teacher training universities were also invited to share, making the aspect of aesthetic education more comprehensive and complete.

The second session of the Central District Teachers' Federation was held on June 26. Director Zheng Yuanquan of the Department of Teacher Training and Art Education of the Ministry of Education said: "Aesthetic education has a heavy responsibility, which is to enable students who have "no sense" to develop through the curriculum. , fermentation becomes "feeling", allowing beauty to be integrated into life! "Professor from the Normal University believes that the implementation sharing of the empowerment workshop hopes to invite different speakers to the school to inspire the normal students. In addition to publications in secondary experimental schools, seed schools, and elementary schools, regarding the curriculum development and teaching of cross-field aesthetic education, Chen Xiaoxian, professor of the General Education Center and Department of Music at National Taichung University of Education, said: "How can cross-field promotion be achieved? "Naturally," teachers' ability to prepare lessons is very important, and the most important thing is not to cross fields just for the sake of it!"

The third North District Teachers Federation was held on June 28. The opening ceremony invited the dance team of the partner school Hualien County Shuiyuan Elementary School to perform aboriginal traditional cultural dance performances. Project co-host Chen Yunwen, associate professor of the Institute of Arts and Humanities Teaching at the National Taiwan University of Arts, revealed the current cumulative results of the project, "From the 103rd year of the Republic of China to the present, more than 300 cross-disciplinary aesthetic course plans have been accumulated, completely connecting elementary schools to Twelve years of national education at the secondary level. At the same time, 12 teacher training universities will be included, focusing on pre-service training of teachers, and providing guidance and empowerment for local partner schools. "In the future, each partner school will be encouraged to develop appropriate and locally-based education. Cultural cross-domain aesthetic courses bring the development of cross-domain aesthetic education courses to the teacher training side. Aesthetic education should emphasize students' literacy. It is recommended that when developing curriculum, schools should not only promote cross-field courses, but also pay attention to the cultivation of "aesthetic" experience, making it a curriculum that emphasizes the essence of aesthetic experience.

The three-day district joint meeting has come to an end, but the long road of cross-field aesthetic education has not yet been completed. In order to allow Taiwan to take aesthetic education from an early age and integrate it into society, future plans will promote cross-field aesthetic education day activities. , participating in Huashan aesthetic education exhibitions, international seminars, etc. Among them, the day-reading activities will be grandly launched in July, and cross-disciplinary workshops on aesthetics are expected to be held in seven counties and cities across Taiwan.
