Faced with the complex challenges of contemporary society, art and science are no longer separate knowledge systems, but rather vital forces that jointly respond to societal needs, ethical deliberation, and public perception. The forum aspires to become a public space that brings together diverse perspectives, inviting scholars, creators, educators, and practitioners to participate and stimulate cross-disciplinary thinking and practice.

3. Submission Format | Visual Essay
This forum accepts submissions in the form of visual essays, encouraging creative and research presentations that primarily utilize images, supplemented by text. Visual essays are not only aesthetically pleasing but also a critical and narrative form of intellectual expression. They are suitable for documenting educational practice, reflecting on creative processes, and visualizing cross-disciplinary research materials.
The submission requirements are as follows:
Content Characteristics: Images must be narrative and argumentative, clearly conveying the creator's observations, reflections, and practical experience. Text may serve as supplementary explanation or guidance, but should not be the primary focus of extensive discussion.
Page limit: 3–12 pages (including images and text), single- or double-column format, depending on the narrative rhythm.
File Format: Please submit as a Word file, embed images, and ensure the resolution is suitable for printing (300dpi is recommended).
Image sources: Original works, field records, teaching sites, data visualizations, etc. may be used. If using existing images, please indicate the source and provide interpretive arrangement.
Combining scholarship and creativity: Encourage the integration of artistic creation and research methods, such as art-based research, narrative inquiry, and reflective practice. All accepted submissions will be presented as posters and included in the forum handbook. Submitters are required to bring their own posters to the forum. The organizers will provide full-size poster boards for on-site layout, allowing participants to freely design their own presentations.
