This course focuses on "cultural understanding and artistic expression." By exploring puppetry performances from around the world, students will learn about artistic expressions from diverse cultural backgrounds, thereby cultivating aesthetic appreciation and an understanding of cultural diversity. The course is designed based on the four key steps of "exploration, comparison, creation, and expression." Through multimedia video viewing, group discussions, and creative presentations, students' observation and analytical skills are enhanced. Furthermore, the course emphasizes collaborative learning and hands-on practice, allowing students to not only understand puppetry culture but also enhance their creative thinking and teamwork through design and presentation activities. Ultimately, it is hoped that students will be able to translate the cultural connotations of puppetry into their own creations, further expanding their diverse perspectives on art and culture.
