Children's lives today are different from ours. As times change, we have planned the imminent issue of climate change as the axis of the curriculum, combining it with self-awareness of interpersonal relationships and social emotions, self-management and social awareness that are closely related to the issue. Starting with ourselves, we will become aware of interpersonal relationships and the relationship between people and the environment. Lead your children to have the ability to adapt to the future and become better global citizens.
Curriculum planning will include experiential courses on emotional exploration, which teachers will also learn. The curriculum will build on the previous semester's work on social skills, such as self-exploration and social awareness, exploring issues between oneself and others, and between oneself and the environment. Through problem-based discussions, students will focus on how to respond, handle, and respond to these issues. The results of these explorations will be presented in language arts, visual arts, music, and other classes.
In addition to the discussion courses prepared by the professional community of teachers, this course will invite Taoyuan High School Performing Arts Teacher, Ms. Xie Wenru, to give a course for teachers and students to understand themselves through taste, leading teachers and students to better themselves. We also invite schools in the inter-school alliance to participate in the course and to present the final results of the course. We hope to invite nearby schools to observe the course and join in the fun.
The "My Heart Lamp" course, through a cross-disciplinary curriculum that integrates technology, art, and social-emotional learning, allows students to engage in self-awareness and self-expression, design their own characters and inspirational quotes, and create a luminous 3D night light as a symbol of positive spiritual strength.
