The course, centered around "Carbon - The Source of Warming," integrates technology and art, inspiring children to explore global warming and climate change from both scientific and aesthetic perspectives. Through creative activities, interdisciplinary learning, and multisensory experiences, it deepens students' understanding of environmental issues, fosters a sense of social responsibility, and enriches their emotions, perceptions, and thinking skills. The course is an adventure in aesthetics and future thinking, aiming to broaden children's horizons. In line with the revised curriculum theme, "A Sustainable Earth: Opening Minds," the course explores the core topic of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action.
[Art Exploration (Carbon) Reality] uses carbon as a starting point to introduce students to a series of exploratory activities centered on technology empowerment and artistic expression. These include technological innovations such as generative AI art and sensor applications, as well as diverse forms of expression such as theatrical performance, optical illusions, and high- and low-carbon food design. We create a learning space that connects students on multiple levels, from science and art to personal connections, thereby stimulating their creativity, imagination, and drive for action.
