Yongzhen Elementary School, Miaoli County—【Beautiful Math, Beautiful Math】Interdisciplinary Exploration of Geometry and Proportion

"Beautiful Math, Beautiful Math" is an interdisciplinary course centered on aesthetics (art), integrating mathematics, social studies, integrated activities, SDGs (Spiritual, Creative, and Governance), and SEL (Sentimental, Emotional, and Intellectual Development). This course aims to cultivate students' understanding of aesthetics, mathematical structures, and the community environment through the study and application of mathematical proportions and geometry, while enhancing their mathematical, creative, and SEL abilities. Through this course, students will learn to appreciate the beauty of the world using rational mathematical thinking, and will also be able to interpret the wonders of mathematics and art from an aesthetic perspective, combining their own experiences, thus becoming creative citizens with both aesthetic literacy and mathematical logic.
