This course aims to deepen students' understanding of puppetry through diverse learning methods and guide them to reflect on the meaning of life through the plot. First, by watching the film "Happy Life," students will not only understand the performance, plot development, and character development of puppetry, but also gain insights into life's implications from the script. Through worksheets, students will be able to grasp the key points of the script, further deepen their understanding of the plot, and explore the emotional dynamics within the story.
During role-playing, students learn the script, collaborate on a performance, and practice prop coordination, improving their expressive and collaborative skills. Furthermore, the course encourages students to create script drawings, discuss and design characters and scenes, and unleash their creativity, enhancing their aesthetics and expressiveness. This not only strengthens students' understanding of the story but also prompts them to reflect on the deeper meaning of life within the plot, leading to deeper reflection on their own lives and values.
Through these learning activities, students will gradually gain a deeper understanding of the school's signature puppetry. This course not only introduces students to the art of puppetry but also provides a preliminary understanding of performing arts, collaboration, and creative thinking. Ultimately, students will gain a deeper understanding of plot, character, and the meaning of life, and discover greater interest and space for self-expression in the school's distinctive puppetry performances.
