Taitung County Dawu Elementary School - The Call of the Mountains

(I) This course is based on the characteristics of local mountains and forests, and combines various fields to create aesthetics, including writing new poems about mountains and forests, making various forest-related artworks, and singing traditional folk songs and English songs in the mountains. Through multiple teaching resources and learning models, art courses have more room for development and every child can achieve an artistic stage.
(2) Create forest art works based on forest ecology, environmental education, Paiwan culture and Austronesian culture. Woodworking creations, plant rubbings, cloth dyeing, pottery, etc., incorporate the Paiwan people’s cultural concept of “home” and the image of “returning home” from mountain education.
