Tianmu Junior High School in Taipei City is one of the benchmark schools for interdisciplinary aesthetic education programs. On May 26, it held a performance and exchange meeting on the results of the "My Classmate is AI" course. The performance was titled "Du Zichun's Choice" by 7th grade students. Parents and 9th grade students were invited to watch the performance. Professor Huang Chunmin, the co-host of the project, made a special appearance to show her support.

Through a theatrical performance, students reflect on how AI's intervention in life has made choices simpler and easier to find optimal solutions, but whether AI-suggested choices honestly reflect their own feelings. Between scenes, the audience is asked to publicly decide whether to remain silent or speak out when faced with school bullying by dropping orange ping-pong balls into a transparent tube.

After the performance, Professor Chunmin used the Greek myth of Orpheus's choice between "turning back" and "not turning back" to prompt Du Zichun's reflection on humanity. Then, all the students took turns sharing their thoughts on the ending, while 15 parents shared their observations, takeaways, and even asked their own children questions. The instructor also added their advice and expectations during the preparation process. This multi-faceted feedback exchange possessed a unique social and psychological beauty and warmth.

This theatrical performance not only prompted students to deeply reflect on the application of AI and peer relationships, but also highlighted the value and potential of embracing diverse voices within a group. Students learned to be honest with themselves and become more empathetic individuals. These experiences not only resonated with their own campus life and incorporated current AI issues, but also integrated socio-emotional learning, allowing interdisciplinary aesthetic courses to demonstrate greater possibilities and educational value in addressing important contemporary topics.
