Professor Chia-Chieh Wu from the Department of Music at National Taichung University of Education led music students on a heartfelt career exploration journey, weaving aesthetic education, career planning, and AI × SEL into music creation, creating a new chapter in learning and turning the future into a song.

From self-awareness to multi-faceted interaction, the course invited Ms. Miao-Sui Lin, the principal of Da-Xin Elementary School, to introduce "From learning to teach to learning to get along: SEL literacy for future teachers." This course guides students to understand the meaning of social-emotional learning (SEL), practice self-awareness and interpersonal interaction, and appreciate the importance of managing emotions and building healthy interpersonal relationships. It aims to make education a warm and compassionate action, laying an emotional foundation for future career development.

After understanding the core values of SEL (Self-Learning Experience), students further transform this awareness into motivation for exploring the future through self-dialogue during career exploration. In career planning activities, students meticulously outline the contours of their ideal job, take stock of their existing abilities, reflect on the intrinsic value behind the job and the challenges they may face, write down encouragement for their future selves, and formulate concrete action plans, gradually depicting a clear blueprint for their dreams through writing and reflection.

Using AI to create dream-themed songs, students reviewed their written reflections and dream blueprints, transforming their career reflections and emotional feelings into creative material, and then used AI to compose their own unique theme songs. Some of these songs express courage in the face of the unknown, while others showcase perseverance and anticipation for ideals, allowing dreams to become a force to be heard.

End-of-Term Bloom: Singing Out Their Own Future. At the end-of-term presentation, students took to the stage to introduce the creative concept behind their "Dream Theme Song" and perform their work. This was not just a musical presentation, but a profound dialogue with their future roles, transforming their learning journey into concrete musical expression. Students sang out their personal visions, embarking on a more resilient path to professional success.
