Cross-Domain Consensus Meeting Main Visual

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education's Medium- and Long-Term Plan for Aesthetic Education, the "Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Education Excellence Leading Project" has been developing interdisciplinary aesthetic courses with "art as the core" since its launch in 2014, actively implementing the core spirit of the 12-year compulsory education literacy-oriented curriculum. Building upon and continuing the research resources and implementation results of the previous five phases, it continues to improve the curriculum design capabilities of school teachers in connection with the 19 issues of the 12-year compulsory education, SDGs, SELs, etc., guiding students to independently interpret and practice the interdisciplinary aesthetic courses they have learned, cultivating core aesthetic competencies, and constructing a more comprehensive and diverse form of interdisciplinary aesthetic education.

This program continues the recruitment of 127 elementary to high school schools nationwide as interdisciplinary aesthetic education partner schools from the 2015-2016 academic year, and recruits 139 schools as interdisciplinary aesthetic education partner schools in the 2016-2017 academic year. Through professional consultation and guidance from the National Teacher Training University Committee, the program integrates aesthetics into other academic disciplines with art as its core, developing and promoting interdisciplinary innovative courses that meet the needs of future talent. The "Together—2016-2017 Academic Year Partner School Consensus Conference and Textbook Activation Workshop" brings together partner schools and teacher training university committee members, and invites officials from education bureaus (departments) of various counties (cities) to provide guidance. Together, they will understand the content and implementation focus of this interdisciplinary aesthetic education program, and combine regional community experience exchange with interdisciplinary aesthetics x SEL textbook activation teacher empowerment workshops, aiming to ensure that interdisciplinary aesthetic education is with everyone and continues to move forward sustainably in the course of education.
