The "Ou Lai Delivering Feelings" course focuses on the cross-disciplinary integration of language, social culture, and the arts. It combines traditional drama, exploration of hometown culture, and puppetry creation to comprehensively enhance students' cultural literacy and creative thinking. The course encompasses three key themes: "The Beauty of Drama" allows students to explore Taiwanese opera, glove puppetry, and puppetry, and experience their artistic value; "The Beauty of Hometown" guides students to explore cultural attractions such as Dajianglangbao and Yuli Palace, learning about local history; and "Ou Lai Delivering Drama" integrates hometown culture into puppetry creation, achieving learning outcomes through script design and puppetry performance.
The course emphasizes the integration of verbal expression and artistic creation. Through research, dialogue design, and role-playing, students enhance their communication and presentation skills. Furthermore, by exploring their hometown's history and culture, they cultivate a sense of local identity and responsibility for heritage. Through practical arts projects, students develop their creative and practical abilities, from puppet making to puppeteering techniques.
The curriculum features contextualized learning and cross-disciplinary integration, applying culture, art, and language to real-life experiences to create an immersive learning experience. Through collaboration and creation, students deepen their cultural understanding, stimulate innovative thinking, and become both learners and disseminators of culture.
