National Cheng Kung Commercial and Fisheries Vocational School – Relying on People and Swimming

This course uses Qi Jun (with her hair in a bun) as the core text, starting from students' familiar and directly perceptible experiences with "hairstyle" and appearance. It guides students to understand how concrete images carry a person's emotions, family memories, gender expectations, cultural norms, and historical context. The course first uses textual reading and comparison of hairstyles throughout history to lead students from external appearance to a microscopic analysis of "hair knots/heart knots." It then integrates socio-emotional learning, guiding students to recognize the emotions of the character and their own, express their needs, listen to the experiences of others, and build the ability to respect differences and communicate with empathy.

In terms of interdisciplinary development, the Chinese Language curriculum is responsible for constructing text comprehension, cultural reflection, and life writing; the Art curriculum transforms literary imagery, emotional memories, and self-identity into lines, composition, light and shadow, texture, and personal hair sketching; and the Business Services program further transforms textual stories and artistic images into brand names, social media copy, heat transfer canvas bags, and product pricing, forming a complete learning process from reading, interpretation, creation to practice.

The course integrates digital tools such as Google Classroom Padlet, Canva-ChatGPT Gemini, Suno & AI image generation, but emphasizes "using technology as an aid, not replacing critical thinking." Students are required to memorize prompts, compare generated results, verify information, and explain their reasons for adoption, learning to use technology responsibly. Ultimately, the course aims to help students understand people and themselves through their work; to see culture in transformations; and to express their life experiences through text, images, sound, and products. The goal is to cultivate learners with humanistic understanding, aesthetic creation, digital literacy, empathetic communication, and design practice skills.
