Courses

Ip Man, Gongzheng Elementary School, Luodong Township, Yilan County

This program integrates five fifth-grade classes (classes 501 to 505), corresponding to five specific corners of the campus's exhibition corridors, and uses five color images—"green of spring, emerald of summer, red of autumn, brown of winter, and the beauty of the four seasons"—as the creative foundation. It covers three core areas: Natural Sciences: focusing on exploring campus plant ecology, observing leaf veins and organ structure, and plant collection and scientific record card writing. Visual Arts: emphasizing the application of color gradation and graphic recombination, contrasting compositions of seasonal color imagery, and large-scale collaborative creation on tree-shaped canvases. Creative Practice: practicing specimen dehydration and drying pressure techniques, transparent shell sealing and card cataloging, and the aesthetic walkways in the five corners of the campus.
Curation and installation.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, Gongzheng Elementary School in Luodong Township, Yilan County, promoted Maker and interdisciplinary aesthetic education courses. The core of the second semester's implementation combined ecological observation in the field of natural science with modeling creation in the field of visual arts, implementing an educational philosophy that emphasizes both "hands-on learning" and "aesthetic experience." The Maker project this semester, themed "Four Seasons Plant Specimen Art Installation: Five Classes, Five Corners, Five Colors," guided fifth-grade students to explore the campus's green spaces, transforming collected plant leaves into large-scale art installations with scientific documentation value and spatial aesthetic appeal.
