Jakarta Taiwan School - Yiqi in Indonesia

The "Artistic Wonders in Indonesia" course centers on three main themes: Indonesian traditional music, batik techniques, and the National Heroes' Day celebrations. It integrates language arts and social studies courses, guided and integrated by the arts. Inspired by Indonesian traditional arts and the National Heroes' Day celebrations, the course combines humanities, language arts, and other subjects to deepen students' understanding of Indonesian culture, art, and literature, gradually building their interdisciplinary aesthetic appreciation and historical perspective. Students will also engage in hands-on activities, performing Indonesian traditional music, batik techniques, singing, fashion shows, and creating posters of national heroes, enriching their aesthetic literacy and extending this knowledge to everyday life, enabling them to observe beauty and appreciate local culture. This course also extends to visiting Taiwanese students, allowing them to learn about Indonesian local arts and promoting international exchange.
