Graduation is not just the end of academics; it's also a turning point in one's soul and life. This course integrates music, nature, art, reading, drama, and emotional development to create a "Variations of Self" experience for sixth graders.
We believe that at the end of their learning journey, children need integrated learning activities to process the past, express the present, and imagine the future. Therefore, this course focuses on "variation." Combining the scientific knowledge of "acid-base color change" with the aesthetic connection of "color and emotion," we guide students from scientific observation to artistic creation, from sensory experience to self-awareness.
Through the appreciation of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Variations," the course allows students to understand how a theme can be multifaceted through different interpretations, just as each stage of life is enriched by choices and experiences. By matching color changes with personal emotions, students can "see within themselves" and immerse themselves in their paper pulp crafts, creating a visual and tangible graduation memento.
Ultimately, students will complete their own "Emotion Handwritten Paper," using acid-base experiments to create unexpected variations in color, symbolizing their growth through change, transformation through creation, and the journey to a more mature learning experience.
