Malan Elementary School, Taitung County—The Magic of Color in Advertising and Indigenous Music: Telling Stories Through Music and Visuals

This course aims to guide students in understanding the role of music and visuals in conveying messages and emotions through the study of advertising music, visual design, and indigenous music. It also analyzes how music and visual design in different advertisements influence viewers' feelings. Simultaneously, students will explore the cultural connotations and social impact of Kuo Ying-nan's "The Old Man's Drinking Song," cultivating a multifaceted understanding of music, culture, and media. Through interdisciplinary creative activities, students will combine music and art to create socially meaningful advertising works, demonstrating an integrated understanding of media, culture, and musical aesthetics, and developing critical thinking and creative thinking skills.
