Chiayi City Chongwen Elementary School - Gazing at the Mountains and Forests

Chen Cheng-po is an internationally renowned outstanding alumnus of our school. His perseverance in pursuing his ideals and his patriotism, which he recognized locally, allowed him to shine across national boundaries and serve as a role model for students of our century-old Chongwen school.
Through curriculum design and student learning needs, based on the literacy foundation of the new curriculum and embracing the spirit of the curriculum, a modular teaching plan incorporates the 18 paintings from "Looking Towards the Mountains and Forests - Chen Cheng-po Outdoor Art Museum" into a themed curriculum across social sectors. Students learn about Chen Cheng-po's paintings through the history and culture of museum discovery, and integrate SDGs 4 to understand the influence and exchange between Chen Cheng-po's paintings and international museum art culture. Performing arts movements then interpret Chen Cheng-po's aesthetic qualities, integrating the connotations of his paintings with elements of time, space, and power to create images that are full of life and warmth.
