Courses

National Tokyo University Elementary School—Have the little sun in your heart and protect the big ocean!

This project is centered on connectivity, thinking, locality, and the future. With financial support, teachers design art courses covering three main axes: cultural cross-domain, life application, and digital exploration. The course combines marine education with environmental issues, leading students to understand the possibilities of marine waste recycling and to carry out creative cultural and creative design. Through cross-domain and topic integration, students' aesthetic learning map is gradually constructed. The course also connects local resources (such as Taitung University and artists), combines outdoor five-sense learning with professional empowerment, allowing students to experience a richer learning environment. Students will interact with cultural and historical workers and craftsmen to learn about the spirit of craftsmanship, explore marine culture and environmental sustainability, and ultimately create their own marine waste cultural and creative works, deepening the practice and understanding of aesthetics and environmental awareness.
