| We naturally integrate literacy, life perception learning and aesthetic education into the curriculum guidance. Starting from the students, through a variety of methods such as observation and exploration, group communication and cooperation, research and discussion, and action, we let children learn to solve problems and acquire the key abilities needed to cope with the future, so as to cultivate our children to become active learners.
Last semester, we not only continued to collaborate with teachers from other fields, but were also invited by the Cultural Affairs Bureau to work with the Food and Agriculture Story Museum and artists in the class, leading eleven seventh-grade classes to participate in the "Taoyuan City Story Museum Group Art Co-creation Project." Through the introduction of the Food and Agriculture Story Museum's architectural structure, an investigation of edible plants, artists joining the class to introduce food and agriculture education and create solar-powered plant bottles, from land to table, cardenside silhouette and color creation, etc., the children were able to gain the connection between ecology and culture, awareness of sustainable development, enhancement of creativity and expression skills, aesthetic cultivation, and visual presentation of the core spirit of food and agriculture education. Next semester, we will start from school and conduct "Images of Lizhong: Cross-domain Exploration and Creative Expression": From the lens to the metaverse, tell the story of Lizhong and design the future image. This course transcends disciplinary boundaries, integrating language, art, technology, and social studies. It encourages students to express their ideas creatively and broaden their horizons through digital technology. From documenting local experiences to immersing themselves in virtual worlds, students learn to observe, think critically, and create. 2. Cultivating Narrative Skills and Digital Literacy Students not only learn how to tell stories with lenses, images, and characters, but also learn how to interpret and use emerging media such as AI and AR, improve their information literacy and digital citizenship awareness, and develop a positive attitude towards media and technology. 3. Creating and participating in platforms for public dialogue Through sticker and mascot design, students create an image representative for Linzhong, practice design and aesthetic thinking, and learn how to design visual symbols that can communicate, further participating in the cultural construction of the campus and community. 4. Responding to the Local Area and Connecting with the World Starting from Lingzhong, the course encourages students to explore the local area and observe the world. From photographic documentary to virtual creation, it presents the stories of the campus and the city, constructs self-identity, and explores cultural diversity and future possibilities. |
