Taichung City Dayong Elementary School—Heart to Heart—Art × Counseling

This course is centered on the core concept of "A Glimmer of Light in the Heart, A Radiance of Beauty." It combines the "depth" (inner world) of counseling with the "colorfulness" (form) of art, using SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) as a bridge to transform reading from mere words into a resonance with life itself. We believe that when children learn to observe the texture of their school (art), cope with the anxieties of exclusion (counciling), and understand stories of struggle (reading), aesthetic appreciation transforms into a real force that supports life.
This project defines aesthetics as "the perception and transformation of the texture of life." It goes beyond mere visual "beauty," emphasizing:
