Based on the history and culture of Fengyuan wood industry and lacquer art, we plan thematic courses ranging from making various daily necessities.
"Maki-e lacquer tray" combines students' creativity with emerging AI technology.
"Transformed Painted Chopsticks" are added with composite media such as hemp rope.
"Drifting Lacquer Fan" applies calligraphy teaching to daily life.
Through the experience of various techniques, traditional crafts have been presented in a new look. The large-scale lacquer trays created individually and collectively by teachers and students have been displayed, allowing not only the beauty of lacquer art works to be appreciated, but also the characteristics of Fengyuan to be recognized, and a sense of identification and belonging to the local culture to be increased.
