This course centers on the concept of "art as a way to understand and respond to the world," integrating language arts, visual arts, and performing arts to guide students in understanding neglected and suppressed experiences in human rights and gender issues, starting from historical and contemporary topics. Through picture book reading and text discussions, students cultivate critical thinking and empathy; then, through creation and physical expression, they transform abstract emotions into visible and perceptible artistic actions. The course emphasizes students' self-awareness, empathy, and public participation, hoping that through this interdisciplinary learning process, students will learn to use art to give voice to themselves and others, and to put aesthetic appreciation into practice as a force for social responsibility.
