Curriculum Development Philosophy This course is divided into five themes. The "Me and Our Island" course uses recycled umbrellas as a medium to guide students to explore the diverse appearances and ecology of islands through the geometric concepts of "scissors and fractals." Through the creative process, they cultivate a concern for environmental sustainability. The "Light and Shadow Magic - Color Fireworks" course guides students to learn color rendering techniques and apply them to geometric collage creation, beautifying the campus space through observation and creativity. The "Love Hug" course uses small pillow design to help children understand the connection between emotions and feelings. They can heal themselves by sharing their own pillow designs. The "Emotion Book Design" course teaches students to identify and express different emotions. By sharing small books, they learn to respect and understand the emotions of others. The "Cross-Island Learning - The Joy of Receiving Letters" explores the aesthetic qualities of the hometown landscape through video recording and text transmission, and enhances the ability to appreciate beauty, communicate and collaborate, and exchange cultures through cross-domain interactions. The "My Island, My Story Immersive Experience" program integrates Google Earth exploration, 360-degree video recording, AR interaction, and VR immersion to allow elementary school students to engage in social-emotional learning through immersive experiences. This helps cultivate self-awareness, interpersonal relationships, empathy, responsibility, and decision-making skills.
