Kaohsiung City Xinzhuang Senior High School - Xinlvxinzhuang - Flowing Lights

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, many infectious diseases have resurfaced, including enterovirus, influenza, and norovirus. Maintaining vigilance and strengthening handwashing hygiene are crucial issues. In addition to general outreach, we've combined mineralogy and gemology from the geosciences to create a variety of simulated gem soaps, which are now displayed at various campus sinks. These uniquely shaped soaps serve as a reminder for teachers and students to wash their hands frequently and offer a deeper understanding of minerals. Different gem soaps can be found throughout campus. The production process engages with the community, and the results can be shared with the community.
