Just as the maple leaves are in full bloom, the second group of Austrian and Czech aesthetic education teachers on their overseas study tour arrived safely in Vienna this week!
Upon arrival in Vienna, the first stop was a visit to the Kaisermühlen Bilingual School in the 22nd district on the Danube. With the assistance and guidance of Director Wang of the Education Section of the Chinese Mission to Austria and the representative from the Vienna Education Bureau, the delegation members gained an in-depth understanding of the local education system and the characteristics of the bilingual curriculum, and observed the school's approach to promoting the parallel teaching of English and German.

The group members then split into groups and observed classes in classrooms of different grades. In one class, an Australian English teacher used the work of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser as an example, guiding students through questioning to observe the formal development and creative trajectory of Hundertwasser's works, and extending the discussion to his representative works in Austria and internationally. Finally, inspired by the spiral shapes in Hundertwasser's works, the students created their own artworks, showcasing the results of combining bilingual learning with art education.

During the cultural visit, the group also visited Vienna landmarks such as the Whitewater House, the Vienna State Opera, Belvedere Palace, and Schönbrunn Palace, experiencing firsthand the city's rich artistic heritage. The classic works of Austrian masters like Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele left a deep impression on everyone. In the evening, the group enjoyed a musical performance at the Orangery next to Schönbrunn Palace, featuring works by renowned composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss, bringing the day's itinerary to a perfect close.
