Changliu Elementary School, Guoxing Township, Nantou County—Gold-Stamped Picture Book—Art Therapy Creation Course

This course centers on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), combining artistic creation with hands-on experiences. It guides students to explore their emotions and inner feelings through painting, hot stamping, and creating aromatherapy diffusers. Starting from everyday life experiences, students identify different emotions, learn to understand, accept, and express their feelings, thereby building a positive self-identity and emotional regulation skills.
The course begins with emotional guidance activities and sharing to help students reflect on the joys and sorrows of their lives. Then, students create their own mood picture books through drawing and enhance the quality and aesthetics of their works through gold foil stamping, so that each student can have a unique healing experience.
The afternoon session incorporated diffuser stone making, allowing students to further experience the healing power of art through color, aesthetic design, and fragrance. The course concluded with a sharing session of student work, guiding them to appreciate each other's creations, respect different ways of expressing emotions, and cultivate empathy and self-compassion.
