2. Ecological Observation and Life Exploration (Practical Application in Life Courses):
Starting with "green bean cultivation," students are led on a multi-week scientific sensory experience. By observing the seeds sprouting from the soil, the buds emerging, and the stems and leaves curling up "for climbing and protection," students understand the life patterns of plants within a limited space. Through the process of taking turns caring for the plants in small groups, students develop patience, meticulousness, and teamwork skills.
3. Food sources and conserved resources (SDG 12 Sustainable consumption and production):
Connecting to rolled foods on the table (such as sushi rolls and cake rolls), picture cards guide students to explore the complete labor process "from farm to table." This helps students understand the carbon footprint behind ingredients and the hard work of farmers and chefs, fostering gratitude for the land and ultimately implementing green and sustainable practices that cherish ingredients and avoid food waste.
