This course, centered on "Chiayi+1: A Resilient and Just-Right-to-Be Home," guides students to critically examine their familiar hometown environment with a "+1" perspective. The course integrates art, technology, and school-based interdisciplinary learning. Through community surveys, students are encouraged to observe and record the subtle moments of everyday life. In art class, they miniaturize these memories into wooden suitcases, and in technology class, they use AI to generate personalized local-themed music, achieving a resonance between the real and virtual worlds. Finally, through curatorial practice in three exhibition areas—"Slow Travel," "Harmony," and "Spotlight"—students transform from passive residents into "Little Chiayi+1 Storytellers" who love their hometown.
