Taoyuan Municipal Wuling Senior High School – Aesthetic Themes Integration and Workshops of the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Group for Competency-Based Curriculum

1. High-quality partners
(I) By leveraging the resources of the Department of Broadcasting at Shoushan High School to conduct SEL Healing workshops, we developed simple and easy-to-understand interdisciplinary workshops. Through the inter-school teacher community, partners empowered and grew together, sharing the results. The Department of Industrial and Agricultural Arts at Taipei Tech Affiliated High School conducted SEL Healing Handmade Landscaping workshops, developing simple and easy-to-understand interdisciplinary workshops. Through the inter-school teacher community, partners empowered and grew together, sharing the results.
(II) By leveraging the Japanese language teaching resources of Xinxing High School through cross-school courses, and subsequently offering lectures on foreign cultures, we will co-organize a sketching trip to Japan for Wuling teachers, providing explanations of their work. Through the cross-school teacher community, partners will enhance their skills and grow together, sharing their achievements.
(III) The new curriculum's spirit of "spontaneity," "interaction," and "mutual benefit" encourages students to participate spontaneously and create handmade souvenirs for themselves.

3. Resource Sharing
(a) Content shared with community high school and vocational school lectures. Each school will take turns presenting.
(ii) Various contents are integrated into the course and tested in practice.

IV. School-based adaptive exploration
(i) Develop school-based characteristic courses each academic year, incorporating foreign cultural allusions and seasonal allusions.
(2) Our school served as a platform for the six schools: Shoushan, Taipei University of Science and Technology Affiliated Industrial School, Daxing, Xinxing, Taoyuan Special Education School, and Wuling. Teachers also explored and grew on their own, learning new materials that could be used in their courses. For example, our school collaborated with Taoyuan Special Education School.

V. Conduct workshops using sections 8 and 9 to practice competencies.
Students participate in hands-on courses that allow them to choose their own class times and schedules. These courses apply aesthetic principles to crafts such as badges, embossed ema (wooden plaques), mugs, and keychains.
