Kaohsiung City Xinzhuang High School - Xinlvxinzhuang - Colorful Stones

Labradorite is a mineral belonging to the Plagioclase Feldspar Group, with the chemical formula (Ca,Na)(Al,Si)₄O₈, an intermediate member between albite and calcium feldspar. It is also known as the "spectral stone" due to its unique iridescent optical effect.

This project simulates the iridescent effect of labradorite using cold-process soap. Besides being a collectible item, it can also be used to wash hands. The aim is to attract students with its rainbow effect and help them understand the importance of handwashing.
