Beiyuan Elementary School, West District, Chiayi City – “Expressing Affection Through Calligraphy, Making Friends Through Words” – Cross-School Calligraphy Integration Education Innovative Curriculum Project Team

This program draws inspiration from the "Dialogue Between Black and White, Life Transformed by Ink" calligraphy curriculum at Gongguan Elementary School in Pingtung City, Pingtung County, which emphasizes "writing as a form of self-cultivation, easy to teach and enjoyable to learn," and extends this approach to inter-school collaboration and inclusive education. Through online co-learning and exchange with partner schools, students in both regular and special education classes at our school can experience the aesthetic pleasure of "making friends through writing and conveying emotions through writing" in the process of joint creation, co-curation, and co-guided tours. This fosters students' core competencies in aesthetic critical thinking, artistic participation, social action, and cross-cultural communication. The inter-school calligraphy exhibition serves as a concrete demonstration of these learning outcomes, fulfilling the educational goal of "learning together and excelling together" in inclusive education.
